A replacement display panel has been installed by the old Mercury slipway close to the memorial. This was installed by Hamble-le-Rice Parish Council in June 2026 from an arts grant they received from Eastleigh Borough Council. The original board was in a poor state and, in liaison with the Mercury Residents’ Association, they replicated most of the previous panel but with improvements. On behalf of the Mercury Old Boys we are extending our gratitude to all those involved for both this excellent new panel and helping to keep the memories of Mercury alive.
