3567 Frederick Harry Hogben – TSM 1945-46 Fred died at Norwich in September 2019. A Surrey Scholar from Morden in Surrey, after Mercury he joined the Royal Navy at the RN training establishment HMS St. Vincent in Gosport. He went on to serve in the destroyers Wakleful and Corruna, the minesweepers Jaseur and Brinton and then the destroyer Savage. He left the RN as a Petty Officer in 1956. Fred later lived at Sprowston, near Norwich and was Member of the MOBA and a Life Member of the Norwich Branch of the RNA.
